The 73rd Scout Group has been meeting in St Donard’s for over 90 years!!
After a break of a few years, we were delighted to be in a position to re-commence in September 2010 with Squirrels and Beavers.
Our numbers have grown from strength to strength and in Sept 2012, were able to re-start the Cub Pack.
During the last 3 years, we have held 2 sponsored walks, raising around £700 for children in Rwanda, had visits from the PSNI; visited the fire-station, participated in District parades and activities, and last May, we took Beavers & Cubs on an overnight stay to Donaghadee. This was a great experience for the boys and they particularly enjoyed a visit to the RNLI station.
We meet on a Thursday night from
6.30pm – 7.30pm for Squirrels (Boys aged 4-6 years) and Beavers (Boys aged 6-8 years).
Cubs (Boys aged 8-10 years) meet from 7.30pm – 8.45pm.
Scouts (10-13 years) also now meet from 7.30 pm-8.45 pm
Come along and join in all the fun!!
